Eagle is really awesome😁 - it has a URL section where you can input the source or origin for each file.

But sometimes, haven’t you thought: “Oh, I should add this other link too!”🤔

Unfortunately, Eagle only allows you to store one link.🥺

So you’ve probably had to either put the rest in the Annotation section or make the tough choice of keeping just one.

But now, you don’t have to make that compromise anymore—

because you have Synch Link Extender!

With Synch Link Extender, you're no longer limited to just one link. 

You can add as many links as you want and assign custom names to each one!

How to use:

1. Install Synch Link Extender (Yes, obviously)

2. Select the file you want

3. In the Right Side Panel (where Tag, Annotation, and Rating are) 

you’ll see a new section called Synch Link Extender, along with a “+” button

4. Click the “+” button

5. A panel will appear where you can enter:

The name to display on the button

The URL address you want to link

6. After filling them in, click Confirm

Ta-da!🎉 Now you'll see the button you just registered, which will instantly take you to the entered address when clicked! 🚀

If it’s an internet address📡, it will open in your browser🌐

If it’s a local path💾, it will open in your file explorer📁

Yes, you can even link to a file & directory on your PC!

Meaning, with Synch Link Extender, you can even open files that aren’t in your Eagle Library, as well as other programs and games directly from Eagle!😝

Oh, did you make a mistake while entering the name or address?🫢

Don’t worry—✋you can always edit it.🤝

Just right-click the registered link button:

Choose Modify to edit the info

or... Choose Delete to remove it🤧
